Questions

Misère is greyed out in the bidding table

In the standard auction Misère can be bid once the bidding has reached seven tricks, so it isn't available as an opening bid. Turn on Unrestricted Misère in the game's rules to bid it at any time. Open Misère can always be bid.

Hi/Lo, Double Misère and Patastrophe are greyed out

These bids belong to the Perfect variant of 500, so they are only available when a game uses Perfect scoring. Tap the + button beside Open Misère to see them.

I can't find the slam bid

The slam bid is a house rule and is off by default. Switch on Slam Bid in Settings before you start a game, and after the kitty you can call a slam on a suit bid. It is separate from the 10-Trick Slam rule, which scores 250 for a low bid that takes every trick.

The game didn't end when a team passed 500

If Must Bid to Go Out is on, a team must make a bid of its own at or above 500 to win. Passing 500 on trick points alone keeps the game going. Without it, the first team to reach 500 wins, and if both reach 500 in the same hand the team that made its bid wins.

Can I change the rules in the middle of a game?

The rules are fixed when a game starts. Settings changes apply to new games, and a game's own settings (open it from the scoreboard) show which rules it uses.

What does each rule do?

Open Settings and tap the info button beside any rule for an explanation, or open the Help guide from a game's settings.

Do I need an account? Are my games backed up?
